When Chris & Kristen visited Judi in the hospital they shared the news with us about Bob. There was more to tell. I don't know yet if they knew then and were protecting us, or if they found out later. I do know that it's very hard to share bad news with someone who is in the middle of their own challenges.
Judi and Kristen were talking on the phone last night, and Kristen shared some terrible news. Judi wasn't able to tell me until this evening. I wouldn't say we were ready for the news, but we did need to know.
Mutual friends of ours were in an accident the day before Chris & Kristen's visit. There are people who truly do "light up a room", and Carrie Anne was one of the brightest. She was always smiling, always very happy to see you - and she always let you know. She and Dan made a great couple. They were expecting their second child, and Carrie Anne was very excited about that. She truly was a joy to be around. God took her and her baby home that day, and Dan is fighting for his life. Their son Alex was not hurt in the accident.

Will be praying for the families. Carrie Anne will be truly missed. What an awesome couple, and a huge tragedy. :(
